akidnamedij: 18 years ago, the legendary hip-hop collective known as the Wu-Tang Clan burst onto the scene with their classic debut album Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) that laid the blueprint for the hardcore hip-hop age during the early 90’s & brought back NYC to hip hop dominance. The Wu & their debut album paved the way for other well renowned NYC rappers such as Nas, Mobb Deep, The Notorious B.I.G., Jay-Z & others that created what was called the East Coast Renaissance era of hip hop. Hands down one of the most influential albums in hip hop history. This dude said it all.
